Things I believe...
Separation of church and state: I believe this was defined to keep the government from influencing how the church practices. You cannot say that it was to keep the church out of the government - that is impossible, the government is made up of people, many who go to church. It will soon be nativity time, when all of the so called "Protectors of separation of church and state" will file lawsuits to keep nativities off of public properties. My belief is that as long as government recognize all organizations equally, then it is ok. So instead of just a nativity in the courthouse square, you could also see an atheist or Muslim display. Will that make some Christians mad? You bet, but you can't have free speech for one without free speech for all.
Things I believe...
The press loves to build up the underdog, highlighting constantly how great that person is. Once popular, they love tearing that person down, highlighting why you should not like him/her.

Be careful how much power you give the government, because your guy will not always be in charge!
Things I believe...
Prayer in school? If that is the only place children get prayer, they are in trouble anyway.
